The Redwoods Collection
The Redwoods National Park is the most magical place that I have ever been to. I visited for the first time in 2020, and looking up at the massive trees, I felt peaceful yet ecstatic--I felt like a kid again!
The first piece is titled "Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park," which I completed over about 60 hours based off of a reference photo that I took during the trip.
The second piece, "Redwood Highway," is the largest drawing I've completed (by far!!) measuring 20"x30." It depicts Highway 101, or "The Redwood Highway," which runs along the CA coast, straight through the magnificent redwoods trees. The size of this piece is meant to evoke a similar sense of awe and amazement in viewers as felt while driving next to these quiet giants.
