The original artwork, titled "Black-Eyed Susan," was created in 2020 with prismacolor premier colored pencils. I created this drawings while I was living alone in a basement unit in rainy Portland, OR, during the height of the pandemic, and I poured in as much color and cheer as I could. It brightened my life then, and I hope it will brighten yours every morning!
